Randall L. Aiken, Jr
Randy is a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under the primary instruction of Professor Frank Ambrifi and Professor Phil Migliarese, who also certified Randy as an instructor in Gracie Jiu Jitsu Basics. Randy has been teaching basics and advanced classes for most of his years in Jiu Jitsu.
Throughout his career, Randy has been an avid competitor and frequent medalist in numerous Jiu Jitsu Tournaments including IBJJF, NAGA, Grappler’s Quest, The Good Fight and various other competitions. His crowning achievement thus far is his Gold Medal at the IBJJF NY Open.
Randy was also introduced to Judo at an early age by his father, Randall L. Aiken, Sr, a 1st Degree Black Belt in Judo. Randy is currently a Judoka under 2nd Degree Judo Black Belt, Marius Enache.
Randy is the owner and head instructor of Ataraxis BJJ.
Laura started her martial arts career taking Kenpo Karate and teaching Cardio Kickboxing. After achieving her Blue Belt in Kenpo Karate, she was introduced to Gracie Jiu Jitsu which would become more than her passion it would become her lifestyle.. She immediately switched concentrations and became a student of Balance Studios, where she also started training in Yoga for Fighters. She has competed and medaled in various tournaments including NAGA, Grappler’s Quest and The Good Fight. Laura has been a student of Phil and Ricardo Migliarese for close to a decade with time off to raise her three beautiful children.
Laura is an owner/ instructor at Ataraxis Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
